Full Description
A spacious, detached 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa occupying a substantial plot, and with large private swimming pool, located in the tranquil area of Cap d'en Font, just a few hundred metres from the pretty sheltered cove and small beach of Binisafua Playa, on Menorca’s south east coast.
The villa has undergone considerable renovation, including installation of a new luxury kitchen, and has been completely redecorated throughout, with much of the furniture new.
The property comprises of a large L-shaped lounge-dining room, comfortably furnished with sofas, lounge chairs, dining table and chairs, etc. and is equipped with TV, video, DVD and access to free-to-view UK satellite channels.
To the right of the entrance is the new kitchen, with quality fitted units and integral oven, hob, extractor and dishwasher (all units in metallic finish), and is fully equipped for the self-catering holiday.
A corridor from the dining room leads to the 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with double beds and another twin bedroom. The villa also has dual air-conditioning/heating in all the bedrooms.
The bathrooms are modern and fully tiled, with bath, shower attachment, WC and bidet.
Externally, the villa has large covered and open terrace areas to the rear - ideal for BBQs and al fresco dining - and lovely, well maintained lawned gardens to the rear, with trees and colourful shrubs.
Located to the rear of the gardens is the 9m x 4.5m swimming pool. The rear and sides of the villa are enclosed.
Cap d'en Font and Binisafua Playa is a small, relaxed coastal village-cum-resort where the properties are both permanent residential and second homes used by overseas owners and guests. Apart from its beach it has several bar-restaurants scattered around, and tennis courts.
The local historic town of Sant Lluis is about 6 minutes by car, and other resorts and facilities such as Binibeca, Cala Torret, Punta Prima, S'Algar and Alcalfar are also only a short drive away, and Mahon and its airport just 12 and 15 minutes respectively. A hire car is considered essential for Binisafua.
Please note that the area is under one of the approach flight paths to Mahon airport, and therefore some aircraft noise is likely.
This is a bright, airy and spacious villa offering a good level of privacy, and a relaxed and comfortable base for a holiday under the Menorcan sun.
