A stunning and unique detached villa with private swimming pool occupying a front-line position with unbeatable views to the sea (just 50 metres away, across a lane and rocks) and to the bay of Cap d’en Font.

The villa is situated on a large double-sized plot at the end of a quiet coastal lane, and offers complete privacy and tranquillity to the discerning client, with fabulous external areas of landscaped and lawned gardens, extensive terraces, a lovely pergola and large swimming pool.

Internally, the villa is spacious and well appointed, with a very large open-plan lounge-dining room, with 2 sofas, Satellite TV with free to view channels, table and chairs and a feature rustic wood burner and flu in the centre of the room. Much of the walls and ceiling are wood panelled, and the shape and style of the villa lends it a "nautical" theme.

Off the lounge-dining room is a superb open plan kitchen, newly installed last year, with light oak fitted units, integral stainless steel electric oven, hob, extractor, dishwasher, microwave oven, and all the crockery, cutlery and utensils needed for the self-catered holiday. There is also a washing machine, located in the large family bathroom.

To the rear of the lounge-dining room, off a short corridor, are 2 bedrooms. The large Master suite has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, and a very nice modern bathroom/WC. French doors open onto the pool terrace and gardens.

On the other side of the corridor is the other bedroom with 2 twin beds and fitted wardrobes, with French doors opening to the rear of the property. The family bathroom is situated next to this bedroom.

Wooden stairs in the lounge lead up to the first floor, and a huge and most unusual room, which occupies the whole length of the villa. One end has a double bed, and the opposite end an informal relaxation area, with chairs and tables. Also at this end is a door leading onto a good sized balcony with room for table and chairs, and this offers fantastic sea views, especially spectacular at sunset. This upper floor does have restricted headroom to both sides, as it is situated in the inverse “V” of the roof. This room has proved very popular and is considered especially suitable as accommodation and "playden" for several older children or teenagers, and with mattresses could comfortably accommodate 4 or 5 of them. There is a charge for using this room.

As spacious and comfortable as the internal area of this property is, it is the external features that really separate it from the norm. There are extensive tiled terraces surround the lovely "J-shaped" swimming pool and a beautiful and unusually designed pergola providing shade for 2 patio dining tables and chairs. The pergola has massive drystone columns, and in the centre there is a drystone planta out of which a 3-trunk palm tree grows, and the roof of the pergola has been built around the palm trunks. Also on the pool terrace is a BBQ built of local limestone.

A couple of steps from the terrace lead onto the extensive rolling lawn, and at its highest point is a lovely covered "bandstand" with chairs and a small table - this vantage point offers stupendous views out to sea and to the coastline of Binisafua and Cap D’en Font.

The border areas of the garden are planted out with an abundance of colourful Mediterranean shrubs and plants, and there are several palm trees. High mature hedges surrounding the gardens provide complete privacy.

The villa is situated on a secluded and unrivalled front line position, and there are several bar-restaurants within easy walking distance (including the rustic and popular bar-restaurant Nautico, just a couple of hundred metres away), and the lovely cove and beach of Binisafua can be reached through a country track, and is less than 5 minutes walk away. It is close to one of the flight paths into Mahon airport, so some aircraft noise may be experienced.

The property offers a unique environment for clients seeking complete relaxation and privacy, with immediate access to the sea and wonderful views. Although enjoying such a private and secluded location, the historic local town of Sant Lluis is just 5 minutes by car, the capital Mahon about 15 minutes, and the airport a similar journey time. Numerous other beaches and resorts are also close at hand. Extra occupancy supplement to use attic - £70 per week per person.
